Ascot Racecourse and Tote have inked a new five-year agreement， effective as of 1 January 2024， aimed at fortifying and expanding pool betting in the UK. 

The partnership also marks an ambition to amplify the popularity and quality of racing action at Ascot Racecourse. 

All pool bets placed on Ascot races – whether through on-course transactions under the "Bet with Ascot" brand， remote betting via Tote’s website or through bookmakers and third-party partners – will contribute to the liquidity of the UK pool.

Since 2020， remote turnover from British and Irish customers on racing from Ascot has experienced a threefold increase， while international turnover has surged by 22%， thanks， in part，casino slot game to the collaborative efforts with World Pool. 

Ascot Racecourse has played an important role in World Pool since its inception at Royal Ascot in June 2019. The success of the Royal Meeting has set the stage for Tote operators from 28 countries to commingle pools， creating a platform that boosts liquidity.

With 17 World Pool days held across British and Irish race days in 2023， the racing industry has been enjoying increased financial income and elevated media rights payments. Racing enthusiasts have also benefitted from more stable pools and improved returns. 

Looking ahead， Ascot Racecourse， in collaboration with other British racecourses and the Tote， will collaborate closely with the Hong Kong Jockey Club throughout 2024 with the intention of further propelling the growth of World Pool down the line.
